I, myself, tried to upgrade a lvl 10 palace to a lvl 15 only to find this would take MANY MANY hours and MANY MANY resources. Having spoken to Kwl Dude011 (who practically now has his 3rd villy) I have determined that the best way to build a 3rd village is to build a lvl 10 residence in your 2nd village. For example, attacking with Phalanxes, Praetorian or Spearmen (depending on your race) is pretty darn pointless regardless of how many men you may have. THey just get slaughted as their attacking power is minimal. However, come to defence and they are the best troops to have.
